Chazon Ovadyah: Ko-amar Adonai YHWH le-Edom, we have heard from YHWH, and an ambassador is sent ba-goyim: 'Arise, and let us rise up against her in battle.'
Hinneh, I make you small ba-goyim; you are greatly despised.
The pride of your heart has beguiled you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, your habitation on high; you who say in your heart: 'Who shall bring me down to eretz?'
Though you make your nest as high as the eagle, and though you set it bein kokhavim, I will bring you down mi-sham, n'um YHWH.

If thieves came to you, if robbers by lailah -- how are you cut off! -- would they not steal till they had enough?  If grape-gatherers came to you, would they not leave some gleaning grapes?
How is Esav searched out!  How are his hidden places sought out!
Kol anshei of your b'rit have conducted you to the border; anshei that were at shalom with you have beguiled you, and prevailed against you; they that eat your lechem lay a snare under you, in whom there is no discernment.
Shall I not b'yom ha-hu, n'um YHWH, destroy chakhamim me-Edom, and discernment me-har Esav? 9 Your gibborim, Teman, will be dismayed, to the end that everyone may be karat me-har Esav by slaughter.
For the violence done to your brother Ya`akov, shame will cover you, and you will be cut off l'olam.
In the day that you stood on the other side, in the day that strangers carried away his substance, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots for Y'rushalaim, even you were like one of them.
But don't look down on your brother in the day of his disaster, and don't rejoice over b'nei Y'hudah b'yom of their destruction.  Don't speak proudly in the day of distress.
Don't enter into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity.  Don't look down on their affliction in the day of their calamity, neither seize their wealth on the day of their calamity.
Don't stand in the crossroads to cut off those of his who escape.  Don't deliver up those of his who remain in the day of distress.

For yom YHWH is near al-kol-ha-goyim!  As you have done, it will be done to you.  Your deeds will return upon your own head.
For as you have drunk on my har kadosh, so will kol-ha-goyim drink continually.  Yes, they will drink, swallow down, and will be as though they had not been.
U'v'har Tzion, there will be those who escape, and it will be kodesh.  Beit Ya`akov will possess their possessions.
V'hayah beit Ya`akov esh u'veit Yosef a flame, u'veit Esav for stubble.  They will burn among them, and devour them.  There will not be any remaining l'veit Esav," ki YHWH diber.
Those of ha-negev will possess har Esav, and those of ha-sh'felah, the P'lishtim.  They will possess s'deh Ef'rayim, v'et s'deh Shomron, u'Vinyamin et-ha-Gil`ad.
T he captives of this army of B'nei Yisra'el, who are among ha-K'na`anim ad-Tzar'fat; and the captives of Y'rushalaim asher bi'S'farad, will possess the cities of ha-Negev.
Moshi`im will go up b'har Tzion to judge har Esav, and the kingdom will be l'YHWH.
