ARE YOU REVEREND?

An open letter to all who call themselves or other human beings "Reverend:"

"He sent redemption unto his people: he has commanded his covenant for ever:
holy and
reverend is HIS name." Ps. 111:9

"P'dut shalach l'amo : tziva l'olam b'rito :
kadosh v'norah sh'mo."

This is the only occurrence in the King James Version of the Bible where the word "reverend" appears.  The word "norah" (no-RAH) above is from "yare" (yah-REH), and Strong describes it as:
1) to fear, revere, be afraid

a) (Qal)
1) to fear, be afraid
2) to stand in awe of, be awed
3) to fear, reverence, honour, respect

b) (Niphal)
1) to be fearful, be dreadful, be feared
2) to cause astonishment and awe, be held in awe
3) to inspire reverence or godly fear or awe

c) (Piel) to make afraid, terrify

It is also translated as:
fear (188), afraid (78), terrible (23), terrible thing (6), dreadful (5), reverence (3), fearful (2), terrible acts (1), misc (8); (total 314)

You may be Pastor, Parson, Preacher, Elder, Deacon, or even Bishop, BUT:
QUESTION:
Is YOUR name to be reverenced, revered, honored, and respected
in the same way that the ALMIGHTY's is?

Is YOUR name REVEREND?

Or do you give another PERSON the respect due ONLY to THE ALMIGHTY?
